Jackson. Never thought that would happen.
Such a moronic response.Hope they remove all their valuables, and leave the doors unlocked in the parking lot. Otherwise they’re going to be replacing some windows.
The Sonic Boom and J-Settes are going to put on a show for the ages.
Is the crime that bad in the Veteran's Stadium area? Isn't JSU a relatively safe campus? I know Jackson's overall crime rate is horrific but I was thinking the bad areas were in other parts of Jackson but I haven't lived there in 30 years either. I'm happy for JSU and Jackson on this historic announcement and hoping it is pulled off with smashing success with good National Pub.
It is great for the school, the SWAC, HBCUs, the city and the state. Not to mention it further puts the spotlight on Coach Prime’s brand. It should certainly be celebrated. As someone that loves Jackson, and again stepping out of character, can’t we all be happy for the city to finally have something good to happen for it? I get that it is easy to bash Jackson but in this case I say bravo to Coach Prime and the city for this bright spot in all the dark ones. I know there will be some smart *** tell me all about the problems of the city or how they hate it because of crime or whatever else, so go ahead.
Time to showcase Jackson, MS for the country to see***
I don't really care about Prime's brand. I AM happy for Jackson. Hope it spurs some good things. It is great for the school, the SWAC, HBCUs, the city and the state. Not to mention it further puts the spotlight on Coach Prime’s brand. It should certainly be celebrated.
Hot take.JSU and Coach Prime are doing what State, Ole Miss and USM couldn’t do, sell out Memorial Stadium on a regular basis.

JSU's campus is safe especially considering the area that surrounds it. Their security department apparently does a pretty good job.Is the crime that bad in the Veteran's Stadium area? There is some serious hate going on in this thread.Hope they remove all their valuables, and leave the doors unlocked in the parking lot. Otherwise they’re going to be replacing some windows.
I'd hate if it were oxfart or Harrisburg but im glad for Jacktown. Prime Time. Not against it, just don’t care. It’s about as relevant as what Alcorn State or Southern Miss is doing. Good for them
The only time I’ve ever followed the swac is for basketball a little bit. Walter Payton is probably my all time favorite player.I'd hate if it were oxfart or Harrisburg but im glad for Jacktown. Prime Time.

I think we all know “why?”why can’t we be happy for an in state school in an area that badly needs good things to happen?
I’m betting it’s Eddie Payton…My suggestion for guest picker - politics aside - Barrack Obama.
Eddie used to be a return guy for the Vikings, he’s got to be getting oldI’m betting it’s Eddie Payton…
I'm going with Reeves. (Carlton, not Tate)**I’m betting it’s Eddie Payton…
