how do you know we DO have sufficient NIL funds? all Goat and others have to go on is results. And results say we suck donkey testicles on the recruiting trail. Which translates over to sucking donkey testicles on the field. So, either we don't have money to offer these recruits, or they don't want the boatloads of money we have.
Theres a recruiting problem and it doesn’t have to do with the money. Losing recruits to other schools when State is offering them way more money tells you all you need to know. There are some coaches on this staff that need to be gone just on that alone. Money is just part of the equation on getting players, you still have to recruit like you would do in the past and some of these guys are dead weight. Not following up with recruits AND commits. Not staying in contact with targets regularly. Just pure laziness. If we see some coaches gone at the end of the season I will feel more encouraged if not this is just a futile effort.

Know it was a big weekend.
Is this a serious question?

I’ll just go ahead and say that I don’t really want any players who are dumb enough to want to be a part of this program right now. I’m more interested in the decommits….those who we know are probably good and found a better opportunity.

The problem is there isn’t just 1 NIL number. Where we rank in cash on-hand can be different than where we rank in 2024 NIL spent compared to 2025 NIL spent, compared to ‘24 / ‘25 funds collected, etc.

I agree with you though. I have a hard time believing we’re anywhere other than #11 - #14 in SEC football commitment though.
I’m thinking more like #13 - #16. And, more realistically, #16 - #16.

The issue is we’re taking these guys on the cheap because that’s all we can afford. We’re in big trouble here. Best thing that could happen for us would be the top 30-40 schools break off inti a super conference & we’re not in it.
FFS some of yall are more emotional than women.

The problem with goats take and why you can’t take him serious is bc he’s an idiot. You know how I know he’s an idiot? He doesn’t put acknowledge this isn’t just a TODAY problem.

this current problem of lack of talent started with leach and cohen. That is a fact. Arnett deserves blame and so does Lebby but a big portion falls on leach and Cohen.

#13 - #16 is correct. Apologies. Still had only 14 SEC teams on the brain in my earlier post.
