Me too, that sucked hard. I did get to see the Beasties in Philly on, I think, their last tour.

I saw Prophets of Rage put on a really fun show a few years ago, seen Audioslave twice, but alas no Rage Against the Machine yet.
I saw that Prophets of Rage tour too. It definitely scratched the itch but isn't the real thing. I'm really hoping the rumors of them cancelling next year aren't true because who knows if they would ever tour again.

Awesome… my son and I will be in 326. If you pass a big guy in a black T-shirt showing four Warhol-style Campbell’s soup cans bearing the names of the Beatles, that’s me!

I guess I will take a stab at this and imagine given the 50 year history of going to shows will miss a few.

I mentioned in the other thread on who you wished you had seen that my pick would be Miles Davis. The few others I have never seen live include Stevie Wonder, John Lennon, David Bowie and interestingly enough, The Clash. Here goes, memory bank engaged, I will include some jazz performers as well but there have been way to many to remember or list. Many of these I saw with my brother @Garw

Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show

Literally hundreds of other jazz artists, Blues artists, Bluegrass artists, Country Artists and Rock bands that have entertained many people without making it to a marquee event.

I have yet to see Billy Strings.

This list also does not include Operas, Symphonies, Classicsl Choral concerts, Broadway Shows etc etc ( I love musicals ) and again, many bands I have seen in clubs like BR549 at the Allgood Cafe in Dallas Texas.

I love and appreciate talented people that can deliver entertainment including athletes and Chefs. Once you know a few, you really appreciate how much time and effort goes into learning and practicing.

Next up is Sir Paul, Dead and company and The Chris Brown Quartet at the 1905 in Portland Oregon.
Now that’s a list!!

We just left Paul McCartney in Baltimore. Incredible, the man still has it at 80 years old.
He still has it. My own dad didn't make 79.

The infield seats were going for $1500, is what my phone told me, and it looked full.

That was one happy crowd, a great experience.

His band has been with him for twenty years.

Next up Jazz in Portland Oregon next week at the 1905 and we may get to catch a rising jam band as well.

After that it’s back to Pittsburgh for Dead and Company and hopefully a couple/ few more shows to round out the year. Have the list, need to make sure there are no scheduling conflicts.

Let me ask those who were there: At around 10:30, two hours in, McCartney let himself look totally exhausted, but that was the only time I noticed anything, and he seemed to finish strong. My wife says his voice faded a little by the end. Thoughts? Asking out of idle curiosity.

I thought his energy did hold up well near the end, which was very impressive to me given his age. I did think maybe his voice was wavering a bit late in the show. It didn’t help him that some of the most raw and raucous singing he had to do (e.g. Helter Skelter) came at that point. Although maybe that was intentional too, so he wouldn’t blow out his voice early on.

Live and let die was 2 hours in and it was awesome. Great pyrotechnics for that. I thought he did waver but that was more his age I think. The way he sings now.

Other than when he was getting ready to ascend and sing Blackbird, I never saw him drink water once. He is obviously in great shape for a guy his age. Yes, he looked a little winded at one point or another but never seemed to be out of control. Master showman for sure.

We last saw Sir Paul 5 years ago and his voice was a little more robust but that was the only noticeable difference and it wasn’t much. Hell, the man still has great hair.
