It's similar to the Q about why we have no long runs from the RB's. Franklin explained about a difficulty of our OL to get to the next level to wall off LB's and Safeties. So what is it about the lack of long pass attempts. Is it scheming? Is it the inability of the WR's to get separation? Is it simply taking what the defense is doing? I think those are all possible answers to the question and coach knows what was being asked. He chose to denigrate the questioner instead of address it..
Giger has the opportunity to rephrase his question and ask it again down the road. One would surmise that CJF would then have a different answer, but we’ll see.
And that would have been a better answer. I don't like the look for Coach here. Corey Giger scratches out a living covering the program while the head of the program makes 9 million annually. Be the bigger man and answer the question simply and move on. No need to tear a guy down when personalities and personal conduct not an issue.
Although with James there's always more to the story. He documents everything and remembers, kind of like adding drops to the tipper, eventually you get that kind of answer from him.
