how much his family loved Texas Tech. He also has another son and daughter(i think) that go there. So... they get Mike Leach fired after winning 2008 Bigi 12 Coach of the Year, and 10 straight bowl games. AND surely Adam James is going to have transfer know, for fear of getting killed at least... I guess I dont know what love is.

I'd imagine there are a lot of pissed off TT fans at the James family right now, they'll probably be even more pissed when they start having a hard time finding a coach, most good coaches aren't going to want to coach under an admin. that will throw you under the bus after 10 straight bowl years.

College football is about coaches not players (excluding Cam Newton).

Not just that, but if you take the administration out of it, who wants to coach in Lubbock?

That's a tough place to recruit. Leach had success because he was able to overcome that with his offensive system that produced enough with sub-par offensive talent to make up for the sub-par talent he had on defense.

It's not that Leach can't recruit or his staff can't recruit. It's that Lubbock is an awful place to try to recruit. At least with Leach they were able to overcome that and have some success. Not anymore.

Craig James can go ahead and give back his ESPN expense account. No coach is going to be open during game week prep for tv broadcasts with him involved. He'll be put in the proverbial darkened shed in regard to practices and information.
