MSU158 condemnding and basically saying PSU needs to be extra cautious and fire Cael for even a hint of wrong doing because of our past is ironic to say the least also.
I am not going to read the over 600 posts since I last looked at this thread. I have been on vacation since July 1 and have not kept up.
Any chance someone would post a thumbnail summary of where this story stands? Looking at the last dozen or so posts, it seems to have moved to an Iowa bashing.

1. Beau and Syd got some college kid to write an article full of anonymous allegations.
2. Iowa and OK ST fans think Cael is finished.
3. Literally no other media picks up the story.
4. Syd continues to fan the flames, with no luck.
5. A video surfaces of Beau filming Syd in the bath tub talking about the size of her female opening.
6. Most rational fans wise up to Syd being a failed Only Fans creator turned social justice warrior.
7. Iowa/OSU fake accounts try to push the story, to no luck.
8. Some lady with connections to the PSU staff confronts Syd on facebook saying… PSU did an investigation and there was no credibility to the allegations.

That was the gist of what I got from it. I don’t really wanna watch it again because I don’t like giving her any clicks. Either way, it was very cringe worthy.
I didn’t have a great opinion of her before I saw that video, I’m sure my Penn State wrestling bias already had me disliking her, but watching that video sort of made everything make sense. Back in my day we called those sort of people “attention *****’s”

I’m betting the PSU investigation is under advisement of legal council. Council charged with maintaining the institution’s reputation (ie minimizing liability) at all costs. Not (necessarily, but by definition) representing Carter or even Cael’s best interests. Seems like an unlikely environment for a cover up.

Carter has been removed from the Interim Suspension list. Guessing there was a process and they found the claims unsubstantiated.
Carter seems to have taken the high road here by not commenting on any of this. I hope his name is cleared as this process moves along. It isn't good for our sport to have our only 5 time champion to have his name dragged through the mud.
That's 100% on advice of an attorney, especially for allegations so serious. Don't say anything while the legal process plays out.
By legal process, I'm not talking against Carter. Brantt on 247 hinted almost 3 weeks ago he was prepared to file a defamation lawsuit. Would not be shocked if it's been filed or if he has issued the Bartletts a cease and desist as well.
Syd has been pretty quiet, even deleting some posts—I’m guessing she’s now received similar counsel.
I actually popped over here from 34 and Counting to see if anyone knows anything about the Cowboy RTC vs China dual tonight, since you have a lot of knowledgeable folks and now we're like... stepbrother fan bases, lol. But I have to say nobody on our forum has talked about Carter since a few days after the news broke. There was some "oh, look at this thing that happened, I wonder what will happen next" before the Rivals migration but that's pretty much it. Intermat is full of gossip as usual but many folks there are drama fans more than wrestling fans. So I'm not sure where you're seeing OSU fans pushing stories or cheering for Cael's demise. Personally I hate how social media is used to needlessly stir the pot like, every day about every little thing.
