I’m not sold on the OL Coach… UPigs OL is significantly better after firing him.
Need a DL, DB and Safeties Coach. One of those needs DC experience.
Yes oline is our weakest group on offense. They have improved two weeks in a row on run blocking but pass pro is weak. Very weak. Pounders trying to get our qb killed

I'm not keen on moral victories but the defense and runninme looked better today, especially in the first half. We schemed well to keep our true freshman qb from getting decapitated and I saw some decent open field tackles. If the pass rush gets there half a second earlier we don't give up the TD to end the half.

Here's hoping the shitters, quitters, and pussies are all gone and we can start looking like a halfway competitive team going forward.
I don't count moral victories. We need to spend all our NIL money on Linemen. We have a good start at the skill spots.

Great effort today v a bigger and faster football team. Talent was the difference today.

We scratched and clawed and looked like a competent football team. We have something to build on now.

The freshman MVB...... good job. He is a player.

Great. We are back to getting excited about moral victories.
I'm pretty sure except for like one time in history we have always only had moral victories against the number 1 team in the country. All we can ask most years is to be competitive in that game. We were today for 2 quarters with a new coach and basically new team from last year. Now Texas could have been sleep walking too knowing how awful we are. But we have been improving our run game just got to get the passing game going and I think we will see some more scores.

What do you mean? Very undisciplined, careless, penalties, etc.
Then you're just looking for something to complain about. If you didn't see that they played hard for 4 Qtrs and were just out talented then you should just pull for the number 1 ranked team each week so you can be happy! Texas had penalties also, I doubt many Texas fans were pleased with their performance.

I watched him a lot today, he reaches for his blocks and doesn't move his feet to get to his block. I should be correctable but at game 5 I'm not so sure. Hopefully OL coach sees this.

Reading body language didn’t seem to me that Shapen was a good leader and that he wasn’t thought of very highly by teammates. Everyone seemed to play harder for MVB. I could be totally wrong though.

I don’t know about that. They played a little better vs Florida last week with him too. And the guy did finish out the drive after he broke his shoulder blade. Not the smartest thing, but players generally like to play for a QB like that though.

Haven’t seen game no power here in east Ga. Hutzlers biggest issue is a lack of players imo partly due to previous 2 staffs lack of recruiting on defense. How many 3rd/4th year guys playing on defense? Name another D1 team who only returned 4 starters from last year. Lebby adapting and that bodes well for the future. Late night post because only time internet works here.
