A college lecturer IMO ought to challenge students to think critically, and perhaps express an unpopular opinion in doing so. That's all well and good.
A Christian minister invited to speak at a Synagogue has the right to admonish those who do not believe that Jesus is the promised messiah, but that undoubtedly will not go over well and make him/her less effective in his/her message.

Am I the only one who feels this BG is what it is because of the situation in Ukraine? I feel like she’d be home already if this happened last year. Maybe I’m way off base, but this country’s support in that conflict has to have some influence on how Russia is treating this high profile case. Perhaps get the whole population screaming to bring her home in exchange for some back door talks a la Cuban Missile negotiations.

High Profile? I'm not a clown in any way....but caring about the WNBA brings one closer to being an actual clown than most other things in life. The NBA is a joke (to me).... and WNBA is a propped up Title 9 on steroids exhibition that is all things wrong with our country. College WBB has become a by-product of it. I don't mind collegiate WBB...but they're on a slippery slope hitching their wagon to the WNBA.
If there is a true market for something - it will pop up and make it. If hundreds of millions of dollars are dumped into/wasted into a business concept over multiple decades...you have a problem. The same people who support this sham of a league also want free universal healthcare in our country and such.
