didn't rebound or play D. Had no inside game for a 6'1" frame. And when she was off from 3, she was really off. But the concern of Purcell is real. He doesn't seem like an X's and O's guy at all.

She'll be an all-american next year and probably put up 20+ per game, and 35 or so on us.
He’s not. His (alleged) strength is as a recruiter, and we’re not giving him the resources to compete in that area.
It’s a recipe for perpetual disappointment.
(I’m not suggesting we dedicate huge money to WBK NIL. But our results are going to be reflective of our lack of investment.)

That’s going to be a pretty much insurmountable issue. I don’t know what Powe or DeShields were paid, but Okot was expected to sign for an amount that would be more than 70% of our budget. We had absolutely no shot at retaining her.
And it wouldn’t make much sense to spend multiple millions of dollars on women’s basketball NIL when football and baseball are in such crappy shape. We just have to shop on the clearance aisle and do the best we can with it.
So what are you trying to say? We shouldn’t give much money to women’s basketball?
