A much better gameplan this week complete with an effort to attack the UGA defense at its points of weakness. That is really what good play calling comes down to . . . as Rick Cleveland called it in a recent article, "Hit em where they ain't." Works for baseball, too. Against La Tech, they were lined up defensively in a clear demonstration that they would not allow us to run between the tackles. They had 6 players who were basically focusing on stopping the run between the tackles. We obliged them with vanilla plays up the gut. This is why we could get the corner on speed sweeps, even though that's never been particularly good for us. We had a four yard gain by alignment. If that's what we're given: TAKE IT. We better be able to threaten the corner in the future if we want to run between the tackles.
