...He's thrown nothing but fastballs and one changeup to three total batters and hit one batter. Any kind of slider anywhere near the plate would have done the batter in. I suppose he just doesn't have one in his arsenal. After all the fastballs thrown, they would never touch a slider.

Why the 17 does he not throw it? What is Foxall trying to do. You have a guy that throws 95-97 with good mechanics and you absolutely refuse to develop a devastating out pitch?

He should throw three pitches. (2&4) seam fastball, change up, slider. Work inside and out. But, NO. We let him only throw fastballs that isn't that hard to hit when you know you are getting them 85% of the time for SEC hitters.
