Last year ended with a lot of promise by us beating NC and seeing players like Bell and Joyner step up. During the offseason, expectations were elevated because we got Rattler, Stogner, Rucker, Wells, CBS, Dawkins and Reed. We find ourselves currently at 5-3. We should bear Vanderbilt but we won’t beat Tennessee, Florida or Clemson. Our offense is laughable. We are seeing why Rattler was benched at Oklahoma. Granted there are times that our OLine cannot block someone if their life depended on it, but other times, he’s too indecisive and forces throws. Beamer’s downfall will be living and dying by one player and one offensive coordinator. If Rattler wants to leave after the year, thank you for your time but good riddance. Doty needs to be playing. Heck, give the 2 True Freshman or Gauthier a shot. Might not win but they’ll get some meaningful reps. Why in the heck is Bell not getting more touches?!?! I saw on the Insiders Forum that there was talk he might transfer after the year with the lack of production on offense. I understand you get what you pay for but the rah rah cheerleader act needs to stop. Decisions need to be made if we are going to move this team forward.

I dunno. People said Tanner hitched his wagon to Muschamp. They said if Boom fails, Tanner would be fired too. Beamer’s loyalty (or stubborn stupidity) will be rewarded with mediocre/losing seasons and the brass at SC won’t do a damn thing about it.

I said it last week, Doty (or our 2nd best quarterback) should be getting some meaningful snaps each week. They can't do any worse than what we are seeing now.

I don’t know if giving Doty snaps makes any difference or not. I’m still not sold on him as an SEC QB. But Rattler isn’t one either. I just don’t think fixing this offense is as simple as changing QBs. And, if we do have hopes in Doty for the future, I want him playing as little in this offense as possible.
