How do you not suspect the fake punt there??? WFT needed to flip the momentum and a punt wasn’t going to do it. Punt safe all the way.
And their alignment was weird too. I was yelling at the screen that a fake was coming.
The Commanders need to score every time they have the ball. Period, end of discussion. Punting while behind 14-3 is a recipe for defeat against this Eagles team.

Well, the Eagles have the #1 D in the NFC so they should be okay.
Right. You can’t miss protections on 3rd and 7 there. That really swung the momentum.
They went for it on fourth down twice and ran a fake punt….all “stupid” decisions except they made them.
Just wondering why Jurgens isn’t playing if he’s healthy enough to be active.

The Eagles pass D is really lacking today. Too often the defender is just running with the receiver but in no position to actually knock the ball down or intercept. They have no play on the ball and are also out of position to make any tackle. The receiver catches the ball and someone else has to come up to make the tackle. Add some poor tackling and we’ve got a new game. 14-12.
Are you saying that because they made 3 they are any more likely to make the 4th? I think statistically they wouldn’t make it.
Maybe it’s simply a case of Philly coaches thinking that WFT is eminently beatable today. (They are.)
