Giants go for it on 4th & 1, and Birds D holds (an incomplete pass). Birds take over on downs

It is too hard to give up on this team because they have so much skill. If they can eliminate the mistakes they can play with anybody.
The problem is their persistent and very similar problems. #1 can’t handle pressure. You saw it on 3rd and 6. Rather than stand in the pocket and hit the wide open cross underneath, he panicked, rolled out and threw incomplete.

He’s done that all year long. Want to beat the Eagles, just blitz Hurts all game. He’ll toss picks galore.

Just when I thought the Iggles responded well and took control of the game, the Giants score on an EXPLOSIVE. PLAY. o_O . Taylor to Slayton. 70 yards. 30-25, Iggles, 5:22 to go in the 4th.

Good grief. Giants with a 70-yard bomb for a TD to Slayton. Reed Blankenship with terrible coverage allowing Slayton to get behind him for the TD.

With the PAT, it's 30-25, Birds, with 5:22 left in the game

Was going to compliment Giants # 5 for not lining up in the neutral zone for the first time tonight. Just realized he moved over to the other side.

Elliott with a 43-yard FG makes it 33-25, Birds, with 1:10 left in the game

Football might “evolve” and go through periods with gimmick offensive philosophies, but line play (OL and DL) still matters.

It’s amazing how such a simple concept can escape so many teams…NFL and NCAA.

Eagles have the weapons and bodies to win it all.

They need #1 to get right. And to field a defense that threatens to be league average.

Very entertaining game. One take away for me was that Saquon played well. But his injuries have left him a shadow of the player he was in his rookie year. Tough to be a RB in the NFL.

A closer game than I expected. I thought the non-call on obvious Pass Interference on the next to last play was interesting. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m hoping Saquon emphasizes a team with a good OL when he goes team shopping as a free agent

The Eagles did take a couple tough calls, but overall the refs looked to be on their payroll.
