Let’s just leave the playoff talk in this thread. It ain’t happening this year. The Eagles will be lucky to go 3-2 in this soft stretch of games.
Bottom line: this team needs A LOT of roster upgrades. They have very little on either side to build on.

Birds force a 3 & out, but use up all their TOs. They take over on their own 41 (I think) with 1:11 left in the game.

Two bad teams out there today. Both teams deserved to lose. That the Birds even had a chance at the end is an indictment of the Giants.

The Eagles just aren’t good enough to lose the turnover battle 4-0 and win. They also have little on offense besides Smith and Sanders. Shocking how bad most of their skill guys are and they just paid Goedert huge money!
They made no real effort to get the ball to Goedert today. We can argue about Reagor or Hurtz or any of these guys until the cows come home but this coach sucked today and it leads me to believe that the front office has too much influence on the game plan. The Eagles should have run it down the throats of the Giants. Classic f@&@ up by the HC.
A lousy loss aside, how many times have we seen both Sanders and Barkley available and/or both remain in the game when these teams play each other? The Birds and G-Men play twice per season, but I’d say it’s very few times. I blame Dwight Galt

Giants are the 28th ranked rushing defense. The Eagles are a running team. The Eagles should have pounded the crap out of them all game long but didn't, they hardly tried until the 3rd qtr.
Reagor got far too many targets today for a guy who has not produced anything so far this year or his career, for that matter. That has to be coming from the top. So you may disagree with my post all you want but this game was a complete screwup.

the Eagles did pound the crap out of them, but u have to throw it some and when they did , they threw INTs
