Hopefully Dallas returns against Dallas.
And I think Howie is motivated as hell to sign Shaq Leonard after today. LB was a big reason they lost this game.

Now to regroup and try to win one in Dallas next week. They weeent going 8-0 in this stretch. They can still go 7-1 if they refocus.

To be 5-1 and after 6 is remarkable. Don’t lose that perspective!

I didn’t say that, I just don’t feel that SF is that dominant.
Cue the late Joe Paterno on this one. You're never as good or as bad as you look in one game. This Niners team lost 3 straight games for a reason. And the Eagles had been running on fumes the past couple of weeks.

Niners also traveled across the entire country to play in South Philly, in the rain and a week after playing their biggest rival. Everyone can make excuses, it's easy. The fact is the 49ers dominated the Eagles at home for 3 straight quarters.

Well, that sucked

I would have to disagree, Tom. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I gotta say, however, that I really like Jalen Hurts. The guy is a really good QB and a gamer, and he never runs his mouth. Great player. I was also very impressed with Lane Johnson. He blocked the hell out of some really good pass rushers (Bosa, Chase Young, Clelin Ferrell, etc.). And I thought Johnson was injured. He sure did not look like it! Lastly, I was impressed with A.J. Brown. He flat out owned Charvarius Ward. How many big slant passes did he pull off? It seemed like a lot.

That’s true, they did dominate tonight. If they get by the Ravens on week 16 they might run the table. The post season will be interesting this year.

The Eagles are their best when they run the ball. They need to get back to that, especially to help their D

These teams may meet again in January. Games like January and today are how rivalries are born. I think we have ourselves one now. Now we see how these teams respond. Congrats on a great Niners win. They played really well. I thought Shanahan schemed brilliantly to capitalize on the Eagles weak LBs and zone coverages. How many big Deebo passes did they have that way?

I agree and that's why settling for those two early FGs killed them. They can't play from behind each week and play to their strengths running the ball. At least not from 14-15 down in the second half. The defense let them down today. It's the worst an Eagles D has looked in years. They need to fix it. I think Howie will be super motivated to sign Shaq Leonard after today.

Eagles won’t have 3 losses
That's the key for Philly... They still control their own destiny for home field. Another matchup against the Niners in January back in Philly should be much tougher. After today, it's tough to imagine, but should be.

It’s getting late in the season. The Ravens will fold. It’s an annual event.

I caught that part of the game. Admittedly, I don't follow the Eagles very closely, so I was surprised to hear this guy had been around since 1999. He will be a folk hero in Philly, because...well.....Philly. But there is no reason for him to have gotten into it between players - that's not his job to do so.
