Wut? Stop acting childish.Aww your petty little bias is showing. Showing up in this thread that you claim to have no dog in just to stir crap is definitely Pitt fan level bs. Hope your team does better next year.
Cmon Jim. 31 points against the leagues best defense didn’t tell you anything? Philly D was dialed in early and not sure Purdy staying healthy would have mattered. Philly was the best team that played today, the only weakness they have is the punter.Either Cincinnati or KC would give the Eagles a game. SF had some terrible luck today, I don’t see it as being a bellwether for a great performance in the Super Bowl. Today’s game doesn't tell me anything.
They lost tonight.I don't think the Eagles want the Bengals. I think the Bengals are a better all-around team.
Yes and how many times did they punt today??Cmon Jim. 31 points against the leagues best defense didn’t tell you anything? Philly D was dialed in early and not sure Purdy staying healthy would have mattered. Philly was the best team that played today, the only weakness they have is the punter.
Was that before or after Greenlaw “throwing punches on the ball”?Nah, it was #48 on the Eagles who started the petty ****. Williams just finished it. 11 on the 9ers was blocking 48, and as the play was ending, Eagles #48 decided to try to do a double-leg takedown. That's where the fun started. Then Eagles 42 stuck his nose in it. Although I don't have a dog in the fight, I was rooting for the Eagles in this game. I won't in the Super Bowl. I hope they get wrecked.
Eff the Bosa boys.
I picked the Eagles to win easily and I’m almost never right, so there’s that. (I very rarely make predictions because the historical record shows that I flat out suck at it.) The Eagles got some really fortunate breaks, but on the flip side Hurts isn’t going to miss Brown again, the way he did yesterday.Cmon Jim. 31 points against the leagues best defense didn’t tell you anything? I dunno. Why does that matter? Not a 9ers fan, either. Was that before or after Greenlaw “throwing punches on the ball”?
unlikely to happen, unless he acts like an idiot. There were huge crowds in Center City after the NFC Championship game against the Vikings 5 years ago, and very few arrests. The city had plans in place for expected crowds.
#2 is likely to have a good time.
I'm just pointing out that the instigations you observed from #48 on PHI starting petty **** may have been brewing back and forth between the two teams. The petty **** might have started with Greenlaw.I dunno. Why does that matter? Not a 9ers fan, either.

Yeah, he knew what he was doing. He could've just walked into the stadium instead of hanging out drinking his girlie drink waiting for someone to recognize him.The fan is an idiot for heckling Bosa and Bosa is a bigger idiot for responding the way he did. Real bad look.
He's also an idiot for wearing gawdy 9ers gear to the Linc. He has to know that is provocative. And doesn't he play for the Chargers? I don't see Jason Kelce wearing KC gear to a KC playoff game (if the Eagles were out). That wouldn't sit well in Philly.
As sung by Big Head Todd and the Monsters, “welcome to the wild world, brother, sometimes it’s gonna rain on you…”It took me a few hours to process my disappointment over not just that Niners loss, but the farcical way in which it unfolded. A few thoughts:
1. First, congratulations to the Eagles. They are a good team, and will make a worthy Super Bowl participant.
2. That game was essentially over the moment Brock Purdy was injured. (Niners management suspects he tore his ulnar collateral ligament, which is important given that it apparently connects his humerus to his ulna.) Unfortunately, that occurred on the Niners' very first offensive possession of the game, That immediately put them behind the eight ball.
3. The Niners were left with their fourth string QB, Josh Johnson, who promptly demonstrated whey he was a fourth string quarterback. The fumble and resulting gift TD really sealed the outcome.
4. But what turned the game into an outfight FARCE was when Johnson was himself injured on a play that looked eerily similar to the play that put Purdy out of the game.
5. No one has to tell me that "injuries are part of the game" in the NFL. Everyone knows that injury is an occupational hazard, but losing two QB's in the first half of any game, much less the CCG, is a bit too much for any team to overcome. (Johnson went out a few moments into the second half, so close enough.) After Johnson went out, it was obvious that the Niners could not pass the ball, at all, and the Eagles not surprisingly brought 7 defenders up into the box. I'll not soon forget the absurd spectacle of Christian McCaffrey having his helmet outfitted with a radio transmitter and being given a wrist band with part of the team's playbook in it, as if he was gonna be an honest to goodness QB..
6. The remaining three and a half quarters of the game were akin to a boxing match where one boxer has an arm tied behind his back. If I'm an Eagles fan, I'll gladly take the win and the resulting Super Bowl berth, but it was hardly a true contest. We've seen what the Eagles can do with their SECOND string QB (Minshew) at the helm, and that's lose to the Giants and Cowboys. Eagles fans should be praying that Hurts does not get hurt in the Super Bowl, and that Mahomes' ankle injury is not fully healed, or that they can repeat the feat of putting the opponent's starting QB out of the contest.
7. I actually like the Eagles (and in particular, Hurts, Sanders and Kelce), except when they are playing the Niners. Eagles fans, not so much. I am a bit torn about which team to root for in the Super Bowl.
The Eagles DL definitely impacted the Purdy and Johnson injuries. It’s wasn’t a non-contact knee or something like that. It’s all in the eye of the beholder I guess, as some might choose farcical to describe the event and those like myself would just call it a good old fashioned a$$ whipping.

Neither were intentional, but they happen when you can’t keep your QB upright.
I think I saw that Philly had 3 sacks and 7 QB hits on 18 pass attempts. That’s doesn’t include QB hurries. That underlines the problem SF had in protection.
But its the Bosa's from O$U, doesn't that make it O.K.? Plus, after watching this guy act like a doosh after last weeks Chargers loss, I think I am okay with this. I mean if he wasn't a football player and wasn't from O$U, then I would think it was a total d!ck move as well.First, it's a d!ck move to heckle player's relatives. Second, the chick with Bosa needs some fashion help.

The 49ers need a better Offensive Line and probably OL coach and blocking schemes. As sung by Big Head Todd and the Monsters, “welcome to the wild world, brother, sometimes it’s gonna rain on you…”
It was a ****** way for SF to lose. I thought the Eagles had good matchups on both lines - especially the DL getting pressure on Purdy.
One can’t predict an odd outlier like having Purdy and Johnson hurt. That sucked in general. Once that happened, the SF defense got no help and grew tired and frustrated.
The interesting thing for SF is where they go now? They have a terrific defense. Just super. And the offense is lights out at the skill positions. They need a solution at QB and some additions on the OL.
I still don’t believe they’d have won with Purdy, but it would have been a competitive game and who knows?
See Body Bag game from 1990. Eagles did same thing to the Redskins back then.It took me a few hours to process my disappointment over not just that Niners loss, but the farcical way in which it unfolded. A few thoughts:

Chris Forester he of the Miami Dolphins wanting to snort Coke off the hookers arse. But he want to rehabThe 49ers need a better Offensive Line and probably OL coach and blocking schemes.
Everyone but Williams was a turnstile at some point. The Niners fans I work with were particularly worried about McGlinchy coming in. He wasn’t at fault for the Purdy hit, but there was a ton of pressure from that side on passing downs. The 49ers need a better Offensive Line and probably OL coach and blocking schemes.

When you compare what you get from AJ Brown vs Deebo for the same money, you’re right. SF is at a cross roads this off-season. I wonder if they emulate the Rams and go all in on a veteran QB. Brady? Rodgers back in the bay?A healthy, somewhat experienced QB would help matters a lot.
And IDC what anybody says, Deebo and Aiyuk are merely decent WRs. They supplement the run of PA, they can work gadget plays when the run game works, but they aren't 3rd and 7, go get the first down WRs.
