For the game itself they were irrelevant.
For the gamblers it may have turned things upside down.
Jake had been a huge part of some very good Eagles teams. I doubt they release him, but I can see bringing in competition for training camp and preseason.

Carter sack was huge but so was his pressure on 4th down. Forced Stafford to throw sooner than he wanted to and a bit off balance.
Carter is turning into a generational talent before our eyes. He’s incredible. Imagine him with a real top-flight DE.
But he did nail a critical FG early in the 4th. It was a bullet.

"Irrelevant"?? LA was down just 6 and on the Eagles 13 yard line before the sack. A TD would have won the game for the Rams. Had the Eagles made those two xpt's the best the best the Rams could have done was a tie.

Yeah given that McVay is allegedly some kind of “genius” I was surprised he didn’t run on 3rd and 2 and roll Stafford out.
Stafford was banged up (ribs). That and him generally being pretty slow (esp in snow) may have factored.
I thought the Rams offense generally was better than I thought it would be in the bad weather. McVay gets credit for that.
But as it turned out, the two points had no impact on the outcome, thus irrelevant.
If the heart attack I was having is irrelevant so be it
