Yeah. I brought this play up yesterday and was told it was called right. Ref was looking right at it and instead flagged 2 Steelers. Is throwing a punch still a 15 yard penalty and automatic ejection? Mitchell could have been flagged as well, but nothing to see here. Clearly the Steelers were at fault.
My fav part is how my birds man handled Pitt. Like all day shoved them around like beoches. Physically. The entire time

Maybe. But Najee went out of bounds at the 3 on that play. If that play is called correctly, it’s offsetting penalties at a minimum and the Steelers still have the ball in a much better scoring position. I think the play started around the 11? If they score 7 there, it’s a different momentum.

Ah momentum. The most overrated aspect of a football game. It can change on a play or two.

Otoh the Eagles are backed up at their own 3 yd line the Steelers are allowed to flip the MO back!! A great team rises up and does not let them off the goal line. Even greater teams go on 97 yd 10.30 drives!! The Eagles could only dream to play in the AFC NORTH after their sweep!
True. OTOH the unsportsmanlike penalty on Carter on the punt should have given the ball back to the Steelers and added 15 yards, but for some inexplicable reason they assessed the penalty after the change of possession and gave the ball to the Eagles at the 3.
They certainly dominated the AFC North this year. But these things are cyclical. They were 0-3-1 in 2020 against that division.
I don’t think speaking the truth is spinning anything. I coached for a lot of years and one thing you find out is that officials are human and humans are biased. It can’t be avoided unless you build robots to officiate games.
So, the truth is that the Big Ten Conference and its officials have, for some reason, conspired to make bad calls against Penn State and only Penn State. Ok....I see. Have a nice day.
