LOL, I am an Angelo Badalamenti fan and have a few Julee Cruise albums.Yes, the first season of Twin Peaks had a great vibe; I actually purchased the sound track CD. They then got lost and didn't know how to finish. The same with the series, Carnivàle. Intriguing until the series hit the wall.
