You might want to rethink that idea.
When the time comes finding another bottom feeding type will be no problem. Since so many other schools (Washington, Oklahoma, Georgia, TCU, Michigan, Texas, tOSU, etc.) have hired coaches since Penn State hired Bottom Feeder and seen them take them to the playoffs or national championship games, Kraft should be able to find someone. That's what he is paid for.
I don't understand the difficulty you Franklin fan boys think it will be to find a successful replacement. It is not like Bottom Feeder has all these conference championships and playoff appearances to match, or anything better than an awful W/L record against ranked opponents. A new coach will also not face having a predecessor with many memorable achievements. Bottom Feeder has seen to that.

No, I do not "believe" in NIL. I do not think the current system is sustainable. It will either collapse, or the top tier programs will break away and adopt a system of paid employee/athletes. What was college football, a system providing opportunity and so appealing to fan bases across the country, is near death. We are not better for it.
As for Bottom Feeder I know you love all his victories over lower tier programs. There sure have been precious few over ranked opponents. And all those playoff appearances? Remember those? And all those conference championships? Oh, just the one, but you get my point.

It just wasn't the best case scenario for them. The best case scenario would have been getting a qb with a pulse out of the portal for next year but my hunch is the hotshot freshmen is only going there because of the lack of competition. Nebraska might be the only power 5 program with zero returning qb talent.
Ignorance is not realizing the way game has changed. The original commenter had a valid point. The more successful QBs this year were older QBs.
And I could list 50 to every one of those guys that were a disaster starting as a freshmen. And we're not talking about Ohio State or Georgia level skill talent around him
His point was ignorant of facts. It was demonstrably wrong. I named freshman quarterbacks over three generations, including the current era, whose performance showed the observation was wrong. I did not name a comprehensive list, they would be too numerable to include. You chose to insert yourself with comments motivated by who knows what? They are channelling their inner Big 8 days when they had to pay players to compete with Barry Switzer. On a related note, y'all might enjoy today's BuckEye talk podcast. Three guys who can't speak in complete sentences who cover the erosion of their recruiting monopoly on paying players, the thin resume of virtue of their outgoing AD and the impact or lack thereof on the rumors of Larry Johnson's retirement. Also in the podcast was how O$U required top 5 recruiting classes to compete with Meatchickens ability to develop top 20 classes. On paper, PSU recruits between these to #$$hole farms but fails to win on the field.
