NC State has no business on that list. I can't really see either the SEC or Big Ten having any interest in them.

Lol. Duke fan base is only passionate about BB. Pack fans support FB, Bb, wrestling, etc. NC State is a good athletics fit and absolutely has business being on that list. They are not AAU, but they still have some solid academic programs.

Assume the ACC is able to split - what happens? Where do Clemson and FSU go? SEC? What about UVA, VT, Pitt, UNC, NC State? Could see maybe Pitt and NC State to Big XII, UVA and VT would be nice fits in the B1G, but what about a few other big fish? Stanford, ND? Would the B1G want them over the ACC remnants? I think if we can take ND and Stanford, you do that and close up shop.

Clemson and Miami are definitely wanting the SEC, I think that’s obvious for most. UNC is the primary school for the B1G. Question is FSU, AAU members, and 3 Florida schools to SEC? Washington, Oregon, those 4 make 20. ND and Stanford make 22.
You almost need 24 team so think smart schools.

Penn State's College of Agriculture has done numerous research projects with NC State in the past and NC State was the birthplace of the "Mountain" series of tomato varieties which are resistant to tomato blight and have saved mucho amount of money to commercial tomato growers, which is also a big cash crop in Pennsylvania.

THE Ohio State University is also one of the leading research universities for cabbage and cabbage growth research, since one of the biggest cash crops for the state of Ohio is cabbage.... of course that lends itself to many good cabbage jokes.
Always good to have a farmer’s perspective. My roommate at PSU was a horticulture major and he’d point out and identify every tree and plant during our campus walks. Fascinating as hell.

It's not new. The old Big East used to do it.
I'm not opposed. As it stands, schools that don't go to bowls wind up, in most cases, better off financially than those that do (nothing like profligacy).
