Admittedly disappointed Joy Division/New Order didn’t get in but no big complaints otherwise…(sort of shocked Taupin wasn’t already in…).And the inductees are:
Worth noting Zevon, JD/NO, Soundgarden, and Iron Maiden were consistently ranked higher in the fan poll than most of the folks who got in.

Anyone watch the ceremony? Took a while for me to find; wasn’t on HBO this year. Think it ended up on Disney+/Hulu. Kind of stunned Sheryl Crowe got in (over others) but she looked and sounded great and I forgot how many hits she had. Nice to see her up there. Willie Nelson was fun to watch - man, the life that guy has had. Also played and was pretty good. The highlight for me though was Kate Bush - I am not too familiar with her but knew a few songs; she’s so unique and dare I say weird - seemed way ahead of her time. St. Vincent’s spot on cover of ‘Running Up That Hill’ was the highlight of the evening IMO (her being inducted by Big Boi was a bit odd though…).
She (Kate Bush) was very unique. Her Hounds of Love Album is excellent. Cloudbusting and Babushka are 2 of my favorites.
There is another cover of this thats a little on the creepy side, but I like it. LOL...
