Kyler Murray has not publicly expressed any displeasure with the Cardinals. Yet, the Pro Bowl quarterback unfollowed the Cardinals on Instagram and Twitter.

Johnny Venerable of PHNX Cardinals first pointed out the change to Murray’s social media accounts on Monday. Murray also deleted Cardinals’ related photos from his accounts

What did I miss other than Murray and the Cardinals crapping the bed in the playoffs?

I like players that have the ability to remain cool and collective. That being said, I almost found Murray’s complete lack of emotion in last several games…odd.

I saw a few of the Cardinals games towards the end of the year and now that you mention it, in hindsight he looked like a player that couldn’t wait for the season to be over so he could get out of Dodge.

From what I've read he wants a long term contract and the Cardinals can pick up his option.

That's right. Finished year 3 of a 4 year deal and they are planning to pickup the 5th. I wonder if he threatens to sit out this fall if a deal isn't made?

What good would that do?? He still owes them a year plus a 5 th if the Cardinals want it. The clock just stops?
Baseball? Maybe
Imo he either plays or the Cards should just move on

I'm not saying it's good. I'm just saying what I think he is trying. It's fairly well timed. They can now evaluate what is a sub par draft class for a QB. I think he ends up getting his money from somewhere, whether AZ ponies up or trades him. QBs are tough to find. He's improved every year. He doesn't have criminal charges pending.

Isn't there a certain number of games he can sit out before the service clock stops? Can he miss 25% of the season and then report? He loses some salary and fines, gets his year of service time, but the Cardinals still lose him for 25% of the season. The Cardinals can play hardball, including franchise tagging him for a couple of years after the option. I doubt they do that, and I would be surprised if they don't come to an agreement.

IDK, fwiw that does sound familiar. Next thing you know, you end up with Kirk Cousins clone
