Can't shake my old way; I'm a Gamecock fan, so I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I kind of feel about this game like I did A&M in 2022: if we don't beat them this year, we might never beat them. In 2022 it felt like we had to beat A&M because they were struggling so bad. This year, it feels like we need to beat Mizzou because we're playing the best all around football we've played in a decade or more. I feel great about the way we're playing, but I guess I'll believe we can beat them when we actually beat them.

I'm feeling good about it. We'll have a nice family outing no matter what. But I'm feeling good about it.

I'm cautiously optimistic, just like I have been for every game this year other than Alabama.

There's definitely a bit more angst though for this one, just because of the history with Missouri.

I'm more c9nfident than I was for Bama or LSU.

When they trot that back up qb out there, I'll feel even more confident.

Waaay too confident, and that scares me to death. Seen this movie far, far, far too many times!

I feel confident in our play but not confident we can shake off the demons of 5 straight losses.

It's also hard to forget that 2022 game.

I, myself, feel torn. Like you, can't shake the Carolina way of thinking, especially against a team like Mizzou that we've struggled against. However, good news is no one on here plays. So as long as the men aren't stuck thinking in the traditional Carolina way that's all that matters. I will say this game is the difference between a 3-0 finish and a 1-2 finish. I think if we win, Clemson is done for when we play them. The men will just have too much confidence. On the other hand, if we lose tomorrow, I think the doubt creeps in our guys' mind and the confidence is gone when we play Clemson.

I would be surprised if Carolina lost, which is not something I've thought many times this season. Even though it doesn't feel like a huge game, this is probably the most important game of the season to date aside from maybe the LSU game. 10 win season still on the table with longshot playoff implications for both teams.

Since the Alabama game, every game has felt increasingly critical for differing reasons. We had to win at OU because their offense was so pathetic. We needed to beat A&M to redeem ourselves from the close losses to LSU and Bama. We needed to show we could keep our focus after the A&M win to go and beat Vandy. With every game there was more and more on the line. Now we need to show we can take care of business at home. Prove our 3-game run isn't a fluke. Shake off the demons of the last 5 years. For one of the few times in our team's history, live up to expectations.

I've had my Gamecock dreams crushed too many times. Every game makes me anxious, and I never consider any game a gimme.

We have not beaten UK, A&M and Mizzou all in the same season since the latter 2 have joined the conference. Each team has gone on a good run against us during that time. The UK and A&M runs ended in 2022. Here's hoping Mizzou's run ends this year.

Feeling good here in NC. On a scale of 1-10 about a 6 or 7.

Interestingly though, I wouldn't be surprised to see us fall flat on our faces. Historically it's what we do best.

Then on the other hand, on the chances of us winning 2 out of the remaining 3 games - I give that feeling about an 8 or 9 on the same scale.
