I've been watching the basketball games since the first inning. Superstitious. There's no sense in watching if we can't hit our way out of a paper sack.
Is it just me or have we given up about 5 years worth of home runs off the outfields gloves in the last 2 weeks?

A ball that hits the dirt first is still a live pitch. If it bounces up and hits the batter, it's a HBP.
