I switched over from the Braves game just in time to see the 5th inning. Man that was enjoyable to watch.

If we can get two this weekend, we have Florida, Missouri and KY coming up. We also have Ole Miss, and they are way over ranked. I predict we take two from them. Auburn and OLe MIss are the only ranked team we have left on schedule. The only two ranked SEC teams they have played Arkansas and Tenn tonight. They are 1-3 right now against ranked teams. It is possible for state to get back into it.

When we don’t boot the ball all over the infield, we are not at all a bad team. I don’t at all think this team is 2022 or 2023 levels of bad. It’s just a question of if they have dug too big of a hole in SEC play. Winning this series on the road would be a big step toward getting the season back on a decent track.
