Pitiful performance so far. Very undisciplined. Defense looks lost at times. Offense is non existent
Time to dig into the bag of tricks. Straight up dropping back Rattler isn’t going to work. Call QB runs, some wildcat, let Joyner sneak in a pass. Basically throw the kitchen sink at them.
It is because of Spencer that the damn defense has had to be on the field so much! A senior QB should know where to get rid of the ball! 3 grounding penalties is unacceptable!

True but it's that or get hammered. We have no Oline. One of the worst OL's in USC history in my opinion.
Might as well put 6 or 7 OL out there and run three routes.
Where are the roll outs? Staying in the pocket isn’t working. Stupid penalties are killing us. Repeated Intentional grounding and then a penalty for not giving the guy room to catch the ball on a punt?

They have been faking and rolling him to the left, A &M has stuffed it every time. It’s time to throw some serious junk at them. With our line, run and drop back game isn’t going to work in the 2nd half. Defense is going to be gased halfway through the 3 rd quarter if we don’t do something. But yes, Spencer’s having a bad day. He is due. One guy can’t expect to carry the whole team week in and week out.

Carrying them to what? A 2-5 record? A QB with mobility would be the only thing that could help this team! Rattler is slow! Combine that with a piss poor defense and this team is just awful.
Their edge guys are biting and moving in to collapse the pocket. Every time…? Surely someone is noticing this and telling Rattler to roll out? He did it with great success in the first quarter. I know you can’t run the same formation, or call for the same pass plays, but do it until they stop you. Thoughts by some more experienced former players/coaches?
