If Sellers would just run the ball, we would be up 3 scores by now!
How many feel like Shula got in his ear preaching for him to find a receiver before he takes off? I’ve seen several instances where he would have taken off for big yardage but instead he kept looking downfield. Shula needs to let Sellers be Sellers
I know that's not how they want to have to use him. But that' what he is right now. Another RB, one we really need today.
I think on that last first and ten pass, it would have been fun to see what Sellers could have done running it after having that long. I think he might have gotten the first down. I wonder if Shula has over emphasized looking for a receiver on a broken play. We shall see.
Why we want to throw so much is baffling when we are moving the ball on the ground. Sellers could have a 100 yards rushing right now if he would just take off. Looks to me the coaches have neutered him and are trying to make him a passing QB.

It looks like Shula has done a nice job of handcuffing Sellers. I might be the first to say it but we miss Dowell Loggains.
This game comes down to one thing....coaches are obviously trying to make Sellers throw instead of run. If Sellers ran instead of trying to force a pass we would be dominating this game right now! When you have 2.4 million invested you start treating your players differently.
The second half offensive game plan should be to let Sellers be himself. He looks tentative. Like the announcer said, put the cape on and take over. Play calling has been awful in my opinion.
I noticed that too. Plenty of times in this game he would have taken off if it had been during the regular season-not today.
Me thinks everyone (players and coaches) got the big head with thei end-of-season "raises" and thought this would be a walk in the park.
That said we'd be in the lead if we could just trust our kicking game to make easy field goals.

Possibly. We'd probably be a lot more motivated than playing the #20 team in a bowl that doesn't decide much.
