I truthfully have never understood the substitution rule. How long are the officials expected to give the defense to match subs? Certainly they can’t just sit there as long as they want and force the offense into a TO or delay of game correct?

These refs are absolutely awful. You can't let them sub for 20 seconds.
Yea that was pretty pathetic - Beamer letting them have it which I like - same with breaking the huddle with 12 men - that’s a penalty anywhere in college football

Sellers has room to run for 20 yards when they go to 3 linemen but he throws for 5 yards

On that same play we had a DL in their backfield get tackled by an OL.

I've seen an official stand over the ball until we got a delay of game.

Maybe not, but he’s not going to crack. If we’ve learned one thing about him over the course of the season, he is going to be steady no matter how the game is going.
It's almost like he feels he needs to play like 2.4 million dollars. Pressing.
