True.

I think Beamer has earned trust to the point that fans would have given the benefit of the doubt for a fringe, outside-the-box hire who wasn't in that top tier of candidates (Briles, Riley, etc). But Loggains isn't even fringe. The lingering question I have is this: what evidence is there that he can call plays? It's the same question we had with Satterfield. He'd mostly overseen underwhelming offenses in college. Loggains has only overseen underperforming offenses in the NFL. Is there ANYTHING from his body of work to suggest that he's a promising OC? And, this isn't a case of him being someone Beamer has worked with in the past, so he has a feel for the guy.

Knowing how Carolina has worked with their hires in the past , I’m assuming it was a case of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd option turned us down so we went with this guy.
If you read the story about this guy on other sites, Beamer wanted him to the exclusion of others. I am sure the line was one guy long. Beamer generally has not been forthright about this. There was no line of eager coordinators deadset on coming to South Carolina.

Geez. Another wave of hysteria. Beamer has met expections so far imo so I think he should be cut some slack to hire the people he wants. After all I’m sure he’ll be held accountable. For once let’s see how it turns out.
So, Satterfield never happened?

Would you hire a surgeon with that kind of history for your next operation?
If he was given the tools to use and still get hire 3 more times to OC at rebuilding, underwhelming skill players while he’s in his 30’s? He’s more like a combat surgeon in that respect! Lol
