While introducing ex-Oregon women's basketball player Sabrina Ionesca as the guest picker on Gameday this morning, Davis says, "If not for the shutdown of the pandemic, she would have a National Championship on her resume." Not that everyone isn't already aware of this, but at the time, Carolina was 32-1, 16-0 in the SEC and had the consensus #1 ranking in the country.

My bet is Davis knows nothing about WBB and was reading from a script provided by the woke writers at the network. Needs to do his homework before spouting something he did not research.

I hate that word woke but I think you are correct. His script was feed into the monitor and he read it as prepared by someone who was looking for feel good stuff for the guest.

easily offended by a perceived slight or mention of a topic to which one does not agree

he said that about Oregon as he was on the campus and they were a strong team that year. He did not detract from us with that mention So what?
