My argument is everyone throws 10-2 in my face, but beating Kent 10 times does not give me an orgasm.
EVERY program has 2 or so important games a season + a DO NOT LOSE rivalry game (PITT) Those are the ones that matter.
another thing that annoys me is after 6 Kent state games, everyone boasts PSU is 3rd in the country in rushing, 2nd in scoring D, 7th in points etc etc etc…AGAINST KENTs YOU TARDS.

I get it. And beyond Kent state you can look at our body of work and say, "we haven't beaten anyone good yet". Only thing we have done is win 2 tough games on the road against average opponents (Wisc and USC) which is not always easy, and get dominated by a top 5 team physically but managed to stay within one score of them. That essentially is our body of work to date.

Looking forward, if we win out, we will get to say we beat 2 bad teams (Maryland and Purdue) won against a slightly better than average team on the road (Minn) and a whiteout home game that we were favored by 13. That hopefully is the PSU season.

Why can't you provide potential solutions in a discussion forum? Discussion usually isn't comprised of whining over and over and over again ... and then over and over and over again ... about the same thing, but not actually talking about actual fixes.

Statistically we are getting what he's being paid for. 13 ranked salary, typically 7-15th in end of year polls, and 10-15 ranked recruiting classes. Unfortunately, his losses are to teams that have more talent and NIL resources, and that main team is OSU. He loses very few games to teams he shouldn't have if you look at the body of work. He hasn't solved the OSU juggernaut. We have probably had 3 teams with near equal talent and we lost 2 of those 3 in 2017 and 2018. Stood toe to toe with them in 2020 too I believe. So who is out there with a better record against top teams for the same salary or slightly more? Matt Rhule (giggle). I don't want to be Nebraska. You think Cignetti at 60 years old using the portal for a 1 year success story is who we need? We can fire him, solves a problem, but creates another big one too. So what is the answer? Who you got?

It was painfully obvious Satruday we lack playmakers. We have one plus Allar. 3 WR receptions. WTF. Their RBs were better, their WRs were better, their Oline was better. Their Dline was better. Their secondary was better. 90% of that loss was talent. AK **** the bed on the last series. I get it. But no guarantees we win after that. D was gassed bcz our O had 3 possessions totaling 22 plays in the 2nd half.

Idk why you think we have ever had "near equal talent" with OSU. They are always significantly more talented. Go look at the blue chip ratio stats. For example in 2024 OSU is 90%, PSU is 60%. OSU has 4 and 5 star recruits across the board in the 2 and 3 deep at every single position.
