The problem is they're missing so much on defense that they can't get a stop. My guess is they didn't want to punt and give KC a chance to go up 2 scores. Besides that their punter is playing hurt.
I don't get the Bills repeated attempts to go deep. They had 3rd & 12 and instead of getting the 1st they threw a bomb which went incomplete and had to punt. Then on 1st down, they throw a bomb to Diggs (who should of caught it), which is incomplete. Bombs have their place, but the Bills need to put together a drive and re-take the lead or they'll run out of time in the game.

True but I think they actually over achieved by getting this far considering the injuries.
It's bad enough when you lose starters. It's really tough when you lose backups and practice squad players and have to bring guys out of retirement.
Bingo. Steelers had the same issue in last week’s game. By the end of the year, there were guys getting time in the secondary that I didn’t know who they were and Myles Jack was brought back out of desperation. So much so, he was wearing Charlie Batch’s #16.
I think the key was KC bringing guys up to stuff the run in the 2nd half. That forced Buffalo to throw with limited options at WR. Diggs has been a shadow if what he was in prior years. He clearly should have caught that long bomb. In fact there were a couple drops. That leaves Davis who was injured and Shakir who got hurt in the 2nd half. Allen was pretty much limited to TE Kincaid.
Even if the FG was made, they left Mahomes with 1:43 and two TO's. The Bills were not winning this game.
I like Allen a lot, but he made plenty of questionable decisions at the end. Not seeing Diggs underneath for the first and instead firing it into the endzone was catastrophic.
No kidding. I texted "Shades of Scott Norwood" to a group of friends the second after that dude missed the late field goal. Buffalo fans just can't catch a break.
