If you are a legit game changing player....you'll have plenty of options no matter when you hit the portal. I believe Beau would have had the same school's offering him if he had decided to play thru the playoffs....and if had played well even more.
Exactly the game has evolved in a very odd way the last few years and some folks cannot deal with change so they lash out at the players. The players are doing what they need to do for themselves within the crappy rules that exist. For the most part only one QB gets the snaps and most thought Drew would be a 3 and out person, he's not and BP wants to play so he's moving when he has the most options available. Some folks were fine riding the pine for most of their life so they don't get it. Nobody including BP, JF, and the majority of people like this, but reasonable people can at least understand it.
That’s how I see it. Pribula wouldn’t be one of the top portal QBs and he wanted to maximize his opportunities by entering the portal now rather than wait for the 5 day window after Penn State’s season is over. As you can see, he is already taking visits. If he was determined to leave then I can’t blame him and wish him the very best best. I also don’t blame Franklin for taking his position either.
He certainly wouldn't have the "same schools" offering him if he waits, as some/many of them would fill the (or a) QB opening that they have available. He could potentially still find a good home, but he'd definitely be limiting his options to some degree.
Gee, if only we all had given early and often to Happy Valley Untied. We could have bought his loyalty.

Why? You think passing up that kind of life changing $ at 21 is the better option for him?
Because PSU lost it's backup for a coach that same poster has no faith in. If Drew was bailing for the NFL BP would have stayed more than likely.....PSU again showing utterly how stupid their fan base really is. No guarantee he'll ever make it to the league, he has his degree, and the loyal Saints on this board would pass up that money at 21 to sit another year on the bench.

From personal experience, it’s possible to simultaneously hold these two thoughts in your head:
1) It’s perfectly understandable that BP made the decisions he did.
2) You can feel a sense of betrayal that BP left the team just before the CFP.
Maybe #2 is just a sign of my own emotional immaturity, dunno, but it’s a real feeling.
