Through 4 games, he's 14th in the league in catches (14), 10th in yards (274), 15th in ypc (19.6) and 3rd in TDs (4). I'd say he's doing well, not lighting it up. He's not their leading receiver as of yet. I'm sure he hasn't had to play 4 quarters yet, though, given the caliber of competition they've been playing, so the stats are probably reflecting that.

He hasn't had a breakout game yet, so I'm assuming he'll pull a Cousinard on us.

Is this where I mention that Wells won't do anything against us because Ole miss's offense "won't work" against the defense we run?

Someone who played Madden told me that.

Ole Miss laid 66 on Arkansas with 515 yards passing. Antwane came away with 3 catches for 59 yards and no scores. 4th leading receiver for the game. Safe to say he's been a bust for them.

Hindsight shows he made a very bad decision if he was looking to improve his draft status.
He is what he is. If he were really a top tier receiver he would be getting the ball more. Lane loves to score and he will play whoever gives him the best chance to score. There is no guarantee he would have any better stats if he were at Carolina.

He got what he wanted out of the deal, more NIL money.

Yep. Who knows how he would have fared here this year. Maybe his status was overinflated due to a couple big games here and he's just not as good as anyone thought.

Shows the risk of counting on portal players, though. Fortunately for Ole Miss they already had WR1 in the building.

Would you put it past Lane to take our presumed best offensive player from us just because they were playing us this year, even though he knew Wells wouldn't be a major contributor for them?
