If there are no last-minute snags, Jimmy boy to the Colts.
If not looks like ten game suspension on his part.
Lying to NCAA is a NO - NO!
Very reliable source.
Also, Shame Beamer could be the lead replacement.
Let's see if this happens.
Does Beamer have a connection to UM? I would think he has a pretty secure job right now so would be somewhat surprised if he would leave, though UM is obviously the far better program.

Jim will probably take the 1st NFL offer he gets. I think he's cognizant of his coaching mortality (he turns 60 in December) and knows this might be his last shot to scratch that NFL itch. If he signs a new deal with Michigan its going to have a large buyout and while that isn't necessarily a problem for NFL teams, it would be kind of another strike against him in a league that seems to be lukewarm on him to start with. If he leaves the new coach will most likely be Sharrone Moore or Mike Hart
Wasn't there some talk that Moore was also implicated in whatever the NCAA alleged infraction(s) is? Perhaps that has been debunked.

None that I know of. I think the OP is an OSU troll
There is no way the Michigan Blue Bloods are hiring someone who has spent their entire collegiate coaching career south of the M-D line

That does seem extreme. I assume the OP meant that the suspension would come from UM, not the NCAA.

May be, but I’d be even more surprised if Michigan would voluntarily suspend him for nearly an entire season this early into the NCAAs investigation, and knowing what cowards the NCAA are now.

Tks for the correction. How can you win and be hated by your team? Screw loose is how.
He was hated by the front office. "Most" players love playing for him on every level. He's incapable of being something he's not. Its a genuine quality. Also rubs folks in positions of authority the wrong way.

Rich Rod?? That didn't work out too well for them though.

And Michigan didn’t win the NC either, coincidence?

The only infraction that will result in anything of substance for anybody is whatever Harbaugh said or didn't say to the NCAA about a lunch he had (Jim) with recruits. If it hadn't been for that we'd have never even heard about this.

Well, he was ran out of SF after taking them to three NFC Championship games and the Super Bowl. What does that tell you?
Couldn't afford a house there anymore?

Today from si. Stating that a deal was close with Michigan but harbaugh checking plan b. Reporting is dead.

watch what you say on this board. You never know.

“It's worth noting that this "report" was pulled from a message board and provided to the public by a prominent U-M alum with a direct connection to Jim Harbaugh. Although the validity of the report is still in question, the details included - along with the individual who shared them to the public - lends some credibility to the information provided. “

IMO - At this time and for the foreseeable future there's no way Shane Beamer is leaving South Carolina.

No chance they give the job to Moore or hart…..UM is far too big of a job for people haven’t been the lead dog ata power 5 school.

Yeah, but they had to go to Tomsula and Chip Kelly disasters first. Balke was definitely the problem...
Maybe. But they are looking pretty good right now. Harbaugh didn’t exactly set the world on fire at Michigan. He had 2 really good seasons that ended with disappointing playoff loses. Now, he’s in the middle of an NCAA investigation and appears ready to run out the door. Seems like he wears out his welcome everywhere he goes.

If Harb leaves, they will get the best coach they can, and assume they will seek big names. UM history is not a factor in winning games. None of the top teams hire coaches based on connection to their program. Saban never played at Bama. Riley never played at USC.

I don't think he's going anywhere. He had his shot in the NFL. It's over.

Middle of an NCAA investigation? The investigation is over. He'll be suspended 0-6 games and thats the end of it
