I use Tiger Town because it is right by the interstate. I can then be home before the on campus parking lots are empty.

The one challenge to be aware of with the transit is getting on a bus after the game. The lines to get on the bus can be long, and the traffic makes the wait time very long. If you ride the transit, either leave the game early or plan to wander around campus and downtown before going back to catch a bus. Otherwise you are likely to be stuck standing in line waiting for a bus for an extended period of time.

We went two years ago and had a great time. Drove over on Friday afternoon and got a burger at Niffer’s, which was solid. Stayed in Alexander City because the hotel prices were better and it’s not a bad drive over. Parked at FBC Auburn which was a paid lot but only about a 20 minute walk. Breakfast at Big Blue Bagel which was good but the wait was long. Went to the game and had dinner at Venditori’s which was a good Italian restaurant.

Truthfully it’s one of my favorite SEC road trips.

1. I think it was Ron White that said something along the lines of when a guy likes strange it is impossible to get him to stop liking strange. I figured this applied to Freeze.
