Nothing would make me happier than to go 2-0 vs Bobo as OC since he left Shane in the lurch. Sadly, I don't think even he's bad enough to make UGA lose this one.

I reiterate my previous point: we MUST play a clean, disciplined game. We had 6 penalties against UNC and 8 against Furman.
FIRST play of the Furman game was a false start, lol. We simply cannot do those stupid things against UGA.

Play up-tempo early and try to grab the lead to get their head a bit.
Quick outlets. Rattler is not going to have much time and the run game is probably not going to be there until we establish a pass game.
Gamble. Throw long on 3rd and 2 if they crowd the box. Educated 4th down attempts. etc.
Take chances on defense.
Take chances on special teams.
Hope UGA gets caught off-guard in their 1st real game of the season. (speed)
Hope UGA defensive backfield has some mix-ups at key times.
Hope UGA turns the ball over 3+ times.

I'm old enough to remember 2014 when Gurley/Chubb had run for 6.6 and 8.5 ypc. Down 3 1st and goal from the 4 with 5 minutes left in the game. You got 4 runs to get 4 yards and win the game. But he put the ball in Hutson f'n Mason's hands, and he got sacked for a 10 yard loss by Gerald Dixon. They would miss the eventual FG and lose the game. Coaching matters. And that was a USC team that had gotten absolutely destroyed by A&M, and would go 6-6 on the year.
If our defense canāt get the ball and have to play a lot of minutes then we will want the offense to be on the field longer to give the defense a breather. That means a hurry up offense may not be done. I remember some broadcast team saying that itās good to mix it up an keep the defense guessing. Weāll see.

Our only hope is that UGA comes in lacking focus and motivation. If they are focused and motivated, there's no game plan we can concoct to win. ANY path to victory necessitates UGA playing sloppy. If you look back to that 2019 game, UGA was sloppy as heck and it still took a missed FG in overtime for us to win.
Kirby said before the 2019 game that Georgia wasn't ready to play and it looked like it.
The way UNC manhandled us has me worried about our SEC play this season. That game took the wind out of my sails.
Just based off what Iāve seen, my opinion is that we donāt have a chance in hell against Georgia. GA can rotate freaks of nature specialized in their positions in and out all night at most positions. We have repurposed QBs playing WR and RB.
But anything can happen and I hope for the best.

Bad comparison! A few farmers with pitchforks beat the British because we (the colonials) used gorilla warfare tactics. Basically America changed the rules and turned a gentlemenās war into a street fight. We wouldnāt have won if we kept trying to go toe to toe with the British in an open field.
It's "guerilla" (taken from the Spanish language), to describe unconventional warfare, but I agree.
Turnovers and big plays. The only way. They will be hard on us every single play and they donāt think they can lose. They donāt like us much even though we are not considered a rival. We bring a big crowd. Lots of Georgia on our roster usually too. Will be monumental if we win but we can do it.
We get mashed early and often. The only way it stays within 48 is if Kirby calls off the dogs (literally) in the 3rd Qtr to avoid injuries. Pretty sad that I'm not really even thinking about this game.
