We’ll see when/if we play them. Good question.

Indiana does not match up well with our Gamecocks. Just media hype to drum up interest in the women's tournament. LSU was the media darling 2 weeks ago and look how that turned out. I don't think there is any question that Indiana is better than LSU but we are better than EVERYONE! Charlie Creme has us in the bracket with Maryland, Iowa and UConn.....the 1 and 2 seeds. He has Indiana on the other side with Utah, LSU and Stanford. Not sure Indiana would even make it to the finals. Stanford has stumbled of late but I would rather face Indiana in the finals anyhow. USC is elite and will win it all once again!!

Disclaimer: I don't like DS... at all.

Having said that, if the ladies keep their heads on straight, literally fight every single second from start to finish and plays smart - the only team in the country that can beat them is themselves.

Scary version? IMHO > DS is building what Saban built with Bama football and it's pretty much just getting started. Enjoy the ride.

I tend to agree with this. But all of us - particularly those touting our presumed invulnerability - must remember the saying popularized by the late, great Darrell Royal, "There ain't a horse that can't be rode; there ain't a man that can't be throwed."

I think Indiana would jump out early against us as we figure out their style. It uses alot of cuts and backdoor that gives alot of teams fits. We would perhaps struggle for about a quarter until Dawn made adjustments just as she did against UConn. We would then come back and our speed, size and depth would win it again.
HOWEVER!! It also comes down to officiating. If we get alot of calls against our bigs, even with depth, and they get to the line alot, it will really make things tough for us. They make free throws better than we do by a decent amount.
We would still have to play very smart and realize they will do one of two things.
1 - Pound inside to draw fouls and go to the line.
if that doesnt work their way, then..
2 - They will live on the perimeter and shoot threes at a very high clip. If they are hot, long night for us. If they struggle we win by 20-30.
I do think they give us fits though and on the right night they can easily beat us.
