LIV was wanting through 18 holes. However, if turned out to be a regular dogfight at the local CC.

If they had pulled it off it would have been better watching it than all tournaments on the pga except for 4.

Still a fan of LIV. Never have understood why the pga didn’t just welcome the competition and make their product better. Instead they had to wine like little b******.

I understand both sides, the pga wanted to keep their monopoly, some of the players wanted to be free agents it’s understandable, but in my opinion it weekend the entertainment value of the sport and the real loser is the golf fan. Personally I have watched much less golf than I normally watch when the tour is full field! My question is if the if the liv guys reason for leaving was not to have to play so many tournaments, why would they want to play both tours? I want my cake and eat it too!

So what happened at #16? I missed the story. Love golf but mostly follow the majors.

They built a stadium that completely surrounds the par-3 hole. It's really like no other scene on the tour. According to the broadcasters, about 20,000 people surround the hole. And when somebody hits a hole in one, look out because because the water bottles, beer, and everything else in the stands gets thrown into the air. They are also pretty enthusiastic with their boos when somebody hits a bad shot - but in a fun way and not a bad way.

I love this annual display of gallery participation. Golf has The Masters and other major tournaments. Find it refreshing that fans can let their hair down at this one, particularly on the par 3 16th. Booing golf shots, and going bonkers on golf shots. You just don’t see it in the PGA. The golf was still pretty good, with lots of big names participating.
