Next 4 games are at SMU, then UNLV, Butler / Northwestern in Tempe and then back home to face Pitt.

Could be a couple more really nice wins on deck.

It’s going to take time to gel, a lot of teams struggle and look like crap early on when they have a lot of new faces. Jan’s addressed the lack of SG/wings/slashers, outside scoring threat.

And we didn’t shoot the 3 ball that well. If we can consistently make free throws and play defense, we are going to beat some really good teams.

All of the guards can shoot but when shots aren’t falling they are all pretty good at driving and getting to the basket as well. That last couple of years we really haven’t seen that or had the players that could do it.

Yeah, hopefully we won’t have the entire team sucking at making shots at the same time too often. That was brutal.

Not gonna lie…I was dog cussing this team at the end of the first half!

Don’t get me wrong, th start of the second half was AMAZING, but we can’t afford to start slow against the Kentucky’s, Auburn’s, Tennesse’s, UTX’s, etc that are coming up on our conference slate…
You weren’t the only one. That first half was one of the worst halves of offensive basketball that I’ve seen in awhile, and Hubbard and FTs were really the only reasons that it got better in the second. Then, while you have to give the team credit for going inside when the perimeter shots weren’t falling, Murphy and Nwoku couldn’t get anything to drop under the basket either.

That said, I have to give the team a lot of credit for finding a way to win against a solid Utah team in spite of a terrible offensive night. I could easily see Utah in the tournament mix

Utah was picked to be near the bottom of the Big 12 but the Big 12 is very deep in basketball. It’s the best conference in college basketball.

Wow. I haven't looked at the schedule but those are all quality teams. They aren't Valley at the Hump.
