im not one to play slot machines or even blackjack, but did used to make weekly football picks when I was younger. Last year I made a bpet in our local mini casino that Penn state would win the big ten and another bet that they would make the CFP. If they win the big ten, they should make the CFP (barring two losses, I know). It was looking good up until late in the second quarter against Iowa.

This year there isn’t an option to bet on making the CFP. So, I bet on Penn State to win the Big Ten East and win the conference. I was hoping to bet the over on the win total but I didn’t see that bet available either.

Anyone else make bets on Penn State’s season? What bets do you think are likely to pay off?

I'm surprised that you could not find a place to bet the over on the win total, which if PSU can get out of the first 4 games at 3-1 or better seems like a good bet.

With all those here and on the old board that are posting gloom and doom against the "Wow" experienced Purdue team, get them to put their money where their keyboard is, which seems like a good bet for an actual PSU fan.....

I didn’t “search” multiple places, including internet… I went to this mini casino 10 minutes from my house and they didn’t have that option in the sports bet machines.

I heard on the SXM betting line program that Penn State over was 8.5 wins. a bunch of teams ahead of PSU in the polls are same 8.5 wins over, so a bunch of teams are all dead even. looking to actually make the bet, I did not see it though. I would take the 8.5. if we are 3-1 through first 4 that would feel very good.

I believe that the reason they make it 8.5 is so you have to say over or under… so you’d be betting that Penn State wins 9 or more. I think Penn State will win 10 games, so would bet the over .

Betonline has it up at 8.5 with+105 to the over. When betting season win totals, you have to pay attention to the odds.
The odds here imply people are betting the under. If you like the over, you are getting a nice price.

PSU getting to the CFP is about as likely as winning Mega-millions
