Seeing this discussion going on right now. Please, no. And, no, it has nothing to do with 1995 or 2001 or anything else.

For one thing, we’re 4-2 and they are 3-3. This really doesn’t rise to the level of being a blackout game. For another, we just don’t need to make it bigger than it is. Treat it like business as usual. Like it or not, making it a blackout just ramps up the pressure and it motivates your opponent.

This is just what we DON’T need to do: have an overreaction to our win over UK. It was a great win and I’m enjoying it, but we need to keep some perspective.

Even the thought of 95 game makes me cringe!

Was in the stands that night to the bitter, bitter end. It was miserable in every way, including the weather. I was just sure Taneyhill was going to lead us to an upset. In hindsight, I have no idea why I thought that.
