I see a way they could get in, but they sure wouldn't deserve it. Right now, OSU people have to be looking askance at Day. This is two years in a row they not only lost to an underdog Michigan team, but they got physically manhandled both times.
For some reason (The Uniforms since I was kid) - I can stomach Michigan. Their uni's are pretty cool. C'mon. - But I honestly cannot stand Ohio St. simply because in my mind they are Notre Dame 2.0.
My ex father in law was a big Notre Dame fan and I once told him (truthfully) why I disliked ND --- because as a kid in the 80's ND essentially was on every weekend on the TV and *if* SC got to play on TV, we were lucky so it was 90% sheer envy.... (truth)
But the other 10% was for 2 reasons: 1) They literally play nobody every game. 2) They could lose 100 straight games and they'd *STILL* be ranked in the pre-season Top 25 because heaven forbid Noodle Lame not be ranked. <smh> for the most part, I still very much feel this way. I don't like OSU because they don't ever play anybody. Pretenders. They get fat on cup cakes and it makes me sick. Meanwhile, we're stuck playing UGA, UF, TN, and a rotation of "pick a good team" from the west (8 years out of 10) - It's brutal.
My argument for Clemson, OSU, or Noodle Lame - Drop em' in the SEC for 4 seasons and I promise you they'd all peak at 8 wins max.... and they darn well know it.
