I see a way they could get in, but they sure wouldn't deserve it. Right now, OSU people have to be looking askance at Day. This is two years in a row they not only lost to an underdog Michigan team, but they got physically manhandled both times.

For some reason (The Uniforms since I was kid) - I can stomach Michigan. Their uni's are pretty cool. C'mon. - But I honestly cannot stand Ohio St. simply because in my mind they are Notre Dame 2.0.

My ex father in law was a big Notre Dame fan and I once told him (truthfully) why I disliked ND --- because as a kid in the 80's ND essentially was on every weekend on the TV and *if* SC got to play on TV, we were lucky so it was 90% sheer envy.... (truth)

But the other 10% was for 2 reasons: 1) They literally play nobody every game. 2) They could lose 100 straight games and they'd *STILL* be ranked in the pre-season Top 25 because heaven forbid Noodle Lame not be ranked. <smh> for the most part, I still very much feel this way. I don't like OSU because they don't ever play anybody. Pretenders. They get fat on cup cakes and it makes me sick. Meanwhile, we're stuck playing UGA, UF, TN, and a rotation of "pick a good team" from the west (8 years out of 10) - It's brutal.

My argument for Clemson, OSU, or Noodle Lame - Drop em' in the SEC for 4 seasons and I promise you they'd all peak at 8 wins max.... and they darn well know it.

But regardless, in a few more years when the CFB playoffs expand (and it's coming) - *ALL THINGS* will be more settled and equal. Until that day comes, Big Boy football is played in the SEC. Everyone else is just pretending.... and it certainly wouldn't bother me (at all) to see a Clemson, Notre Dame, OSU, Michigan, etc ......be in the "top 8" - assuming an 8 team playoff. Fine. Would make things more exciting and not so nit-picky, imho. I'm good with that setup. But something about "sneaking in" @ #4......... no. Frauds. Earn it.
