So fair is having the labors of football players continue to underwrite money-losing sports as they do now? Title IX doesn't apply.

Except that the labors of football players return a a surplus and those of other sports......
Do you believe that your doctor should be paid as much as a coal miner? Try to persuade him or her of that. You might not like the results of your attempt.

Actually going through this stuff at high school level. Tennis track robotics drama and band that my girls are in are always secondary to the needs of the football team. They try to move all money towards football, money that is meant for other things. Our football team is turrible. 
High school is a different paradigm. At most HSs, football doesn't make money or not much. Funding for extra-curriculars should be on on a more or less equal basis per capita.Actually going through this stuff at high school level.
