I just want to recall who all the numbnuts on here and pay board who were clamoring for this guy to be the coach over a retread or a guy with head coaching experience at a lower level. He was probably one of the better coordinators but a lot of folks really wanted another leach type or retread hire just after going through Arnett just a bad time in football to go with inexperience when you need to rebuild after a guy was in over his head after being promoted after a beloved coach died. Especially in today's world of football too. Just shows our admin had no clue what they are doing and this further solidified it. Very tone deaf to the situation and what is needed. What was the interview like? I know Nil and offense? What was post season talk like? We need money for players? Never mind we got waxed by teams that have same talent level we do

Put up or shut up. Let's see what kind of talent we get in. I'll judge then and I will have little leniency.

I suggest moving part of your donations to Mad Dawg rugby. It's the only up-and-coming program in the state and will compete for true playoffs next fall. Plus, my son is on the team and loves it. We attended more rugby matches the last two seasons than football games.

You don't want Mississippi State playing against Montana State in football. You think the Toledo game was a blowout

I was kidding, I thought obviously, but I'd still take that game over the vast majority of our schedule. It's still an FCS team. Hell, EKU went 8-3 in their regular season against teams not named Mississippi State. They even made the playoffs.

Montana State might whip us, but the 35-31 win at New Mexico doesn't make me think they are going to blow the doors off even bad FBS teams.

I'm still mesmerized by what Toledo did to us considering what they turned out to be.

Sign the petition to bring back the Choctaw’s football program. Seems like a better chance than firing Hutzler

Lebby protecting his bosom buddy, Hutzler, reminds me of Joe Biden protecting Hunter. He doesn’t give a crap what anyone thinks. He doesn’t care about what is the right thing to do. His main priority is protecting his buddy and everything else be damned.

Why are we surprised? The same tune/attitude he had when Art Briles came out on the field at Oklahoma. He was waaaay to cavalier then and he is now.
