Rest your starters or play for the win in attempt to build some confidence heading into the playoffs?

From a discussion I already had with a friend, I say play them the first half. If they do well, then pull them. If not, play them the rest of the game.

They are struggling to much to sit them for a game. They need all of the chances they can get to get back on track

Since the mid-point of the season they have been playing under a lot of pressure due to their record. The stress may have caught up with them. If that is the case, a week off may not hurt. Just saying. I don't know. It's a crap shoot.

ETA: Should be under hatfieldms. Sorry.

definitely a crap shoot. especially when their problem for the last couple of games has been playing for 4 quarters. definitely do not want to play everyone for the whole game

We need to be healthy for the playoffs. I know you want to get back in sync for the playoffs, but it doesn't matter if people can't play because of injury. I'd almost be scared to put Brees in.

Id honestly start who can play and let them play the first two quarters. If players have minor bumps and bruises id let them play since your going to have 2 weeks till your next game. If anybody has an inury that easily could get worst I dont even dress them out. Id try to play a lot of d-lineman and try to find out which ones can stop the run. The panthers are going to try to run the ball down their throat especially with steve smiths broken arm. And with a good chance now of possibly playing the vikings or dallas in the 2nd round we need to be ready to stop the run or its going to be a long game. I would pay special attention to julius peppers. If he is playing like the he did against the vikes, i take brees out and sit him no matter what. Peppers is playing for a new contract so he will proably bring his a-game.

They're already getting a bye week. You don't want your best players playing their first playoff game after 3 weeks of rest.
