Ever hear of Manti Te’o, or the term catfishing? It’s been going on for years.

What kind of stuff did dear Mr Te’o do in tbe Notre Dame football locker room? Analogous to this situation?

Huh? I honestly have no idea where you’re going with this.
Let me explain what I meant by what I said and maybe it will make more sense. Kids being stupid online is going on at every school, from middle school right on up to medical school. If you have children they may well be doing stupid things online. When they are doing these stupid things they are easy marks to target out of fear of embarrassment for being exposed. It absolutely is not a Penn State specific situation. Not even remotely so.
And it doesn’t stop at college - see Andrew Weiner.

How about the track & field athletes at Northeastern who were catfished by one of their coaches? Although with your loonish logic, that incident is also damning to Franklin since the perp was a former Penn State athlete and volunteer coach.

Just be honest and say that you don’t like Franklin and want him gone. At least give some valid reasons like wins & losses instead of clutching to this incident where no football players were charged. Your brushing off of Paterno players that were charged and even convicted of crimes as a few bad apples while touting this as grounds for dismissal is ludicrous at best. You can’t see the forest for the Franklin. The only analogy you’re willing to entertain is Mrs. Peacock with the candlestick in Franklin’s locker room.
