No. And it's not even really all that close. The upside is that the least talented position on their roster is quarterback. And in Ryan Day's triple ply offense, not being talented that quarterback is a really terrible thing.

Battle will be in the trenches, if they get pushed around as usual then no shot. OSU receivers much better as well. PSU has some talent obviously and can get after the QB, will need to force the young kid off his mark to help the secondary, can't stay with the likes of Harrison forever. Best chance though since the Trace yrs to actually get a dub..

Match-ups will be key; they're rarely in our favor vs. OSU but I like our DL & LBs vs. their OL/Run game and our secondary is maybe the best int he country (OSU's WR's are also probably the best in the country). Turnovers and ST likely keys, as is smart play-calling. Their D isn't as scary as usual either so hoping for breakouts for Allen/Singleton. This is going to be very fun to watch.

While I fear Michigan is gonna run all over us again, I think our defense matches up well with OSU. They are #1 in the conference in total offense, so as they say...somethin's gotta give.

On the other hand, I think we are going to struggle to score points.

And then there's our history in Columbus....

Im hoping for like a 17-14, 14-10 kinda win.

Not even close? The only area where OSU is superior in talent on offense is the wide receivers. As far as the defense goes, Maryland had lots of success on offense until they started turning the ball over and self-imploded in the second half (per usual). Your claim is WAY off base.

Those rankings and $1.00 will get me a soda out of the machine at work.
Blue chip ratio is definitely a thing. Teams over 70% are a fixture in the CFP....teams below 70% have been outliers.

Sometimes my 4* isn't gonna pan out. And sometimes my relatively unknown, unrecruited player turns into Shane Conlan.

But 9 times out of 10, my 4 and 5 star guys are beating your 3 star guys.

Penn State laughs at talent, except in Old Main.

Coaching doesn’t mean much if your players aren’t as, or more, talented than the guys that they’re playing.

We’ll see what happens today.
